2015 has come! It's the year of the Goat on the Chinese calendar, but it's also our 5th Anniversary!!!
To celebrate this, we've been redesigning our facilities over the past few weeks and are now ready for more productions and more musics!
Looking back, last year has been a wonderful year for us with loads of very exciting projects.
Here are some of the highlights from 2014 at Ker Sound:

TENCENT GAMES
Monster Hunter Online

Interview with Japanese video game music composer Tetsuya Shibata ("Monster Hunter","Devil May Cry", ...) at KerSound Studios. For his first time to visit Shanghai, Tetsuya was invited by TENCENT GAMES to discuss his recent work on the upcoming China's "Monster Hunter Online" in collaboration with Ker Sound.

CHEVROLET TV commercials

Chevrolet has been one of our main clients ever since we've opened the studio in  March 2010:

FORD EcoSport Asia Campaign

FORD EcoSport is developing faster and faster these years. It was even acclaimed by former President Hu Jingtao.
Ker Sound had the great honor to produce and supervise the soundtracks for the Asia-Pacific Campaign.

Rapper Merty Shango

We've recorded and mixed a few songs for rap artist Merty Shango in 2014, including a featuring on one of L.O.C.'s new hits.
Young artist, extremely talented and incredibly productive!
Looking forward to many more collaborations with this amazing artist!

SoundScape's first studio album

Early 2014, we've recorded and mixed the first studio album of the "organic world music" band SoundScape: "Le Paradis des Voyageurs Perdus".
It was the beginning of a collaboration with the band that is still on going as we are now taking care of their live sound and recordings.

BUDWEISER TV commercial

BUDWEISER Brewmaster Private Reserve was rolled out in 2014.  A high-end and exceptionally rich beer.
We've worked in collaboration with music composer Henrik Iwan and Belgium Philharmonic principal cello, Xuewen Gao, on this short but stunningly produced TV commercial (including a 5.1 surround mix for Theatrical releases).

MAYBELLINE TV commercial

We've produced the original soundtrack for a very powerful TV commercial directed by Karina Taira.
The film is starring Deng Ziqi, a young and already famous singer in China (she's only 23).

VIDEO GAME TRAILER MUSIC

Moonlight Blade was wrote by Gu Long. It is a famous Swordsman novel. It was made into a movie in 1976, and a TV show in 2012.
In 2014, 3D game Moonlight Blade was researched and developed by TENCENT GAMES.
Greg Yu composed the trailer's music.

QOROS TV commercial

QOROS was founded in 2007. QOROS is an invented word. The Q is intended to represent quality, and the whole name to echo the Greek chorus, a collective voice in plays and music, reflecting the multinational nature of the company.
We've  produced the original soundtrack for it in 2014.

Digital Audio China seminar

In May 2014, KerSound was invited by the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Steinberg  at the DAC seminar to talk about film score production & audio post production worflows.

ADR recording with up-and-coming actress Qu JingJing

Qu Jingjing is a very young but already a movie star.
A few months back, she came to our studios to do some ADR works (in French!) on a beautiful Sino-French feature film starring the amazing Yolande Moreau. Definitely an actress to follow!

FORD MUSTANG TV commercial

This is one of the coolest videos on our minds. It caught our eyes when we watched it. The all-new Ford Mustang appeared. We were happy to write, produce and record the music for it.

H Noodle TV commercial

Two month ago, KerSound was working on the TVC with production company Stink. It's a brand under "Unified". After the ad was broadcast on TV, it was awarded "2014 Annual Innovation Award convenience food industry" and "2014 Year of convenience foods".
The director found a very interesting way of using the "French Revolution" theme in this film.

SuperNanny China, season II

After completing the 1st season of SuperNanny China in 2013, we've started 2014 with the 2nd season of the show in collaboration with IPCN and CCTV-2

THE POLYMORPH EXTRA

The Polymorph Extra is a multi artistic live performance conceived and led by musician and painter Quentin Paquignon.
"PHOENIX LIVE" was the first collaboration between the Polymorph Extra and KerSound in mid 2014. We've made a 5.1 surround mix for DVD release of this first big show, and this was really just the beginning of a big adventure, with the support of Sennheiser Media.
Their first studio album is in the pipe... More soon!!!
